May  2017: Frederick accompanies the choir of St George’s in a CD recording for Priory .

Graded Keyboard Musicianship, written with Anne Marden Thomas, is published on 27 April 2017.

26 March 2017: Frederick plays God is our refuge at a service commemorating 500 years since the Reformation at St George’s Cathedral.

March 2017: Frederick examines for ABRSM in Colchester and London, also training examiners.

26 Feburary 2017: Anne Marsden Thomas  plays Gieb Fried o frommer treuer Gott as the final voluntary at the 10am Parish Eucharist at St Giles Cripplegate.

5 February 2017: Prayer of St Richard of Chichester sung at mass at St George’s Cathedral.

28 January 2017: William Whitehead gives the first performance of Frederick’s Gieb Fried o frommer treuer Gott at the Bloomsbury Organ Day. The piece was commissioned by Rebecca Hirst and Patrick Hartley.

22 January 2017: Frederick gives the first performance of God is our refuge at the end of the broadcast of Sunday Worship on BBC Radio 4,  broadcast live from St George’s Cathedral - listeners at home only hear the first section

January 2017: Frederick examines written papers for the Royal College of Organists’ ARCO diploma.

November and December 2016: Frederick examines ABRSM grades and diplomas in London and Basingstoke.

19 November 2016: Frederick teaches on an RCO study day in Dulwich alongside Simon Williams and Catherine Ennis.

12 November 2016: Frederick teaches an RCO class on Fugal Techniques at St George’s Cathedral.

September 2016: The Mindful Pianist by Mark Tanner (Faber), to which Frederick contributed, is now available. Most of the guidance in this book could equally apply to organists.

13 September, 2016: St George’s, Hanover Square: Frederick gives the premiere of his Gothic Fantasia for organ and also the premiere of an organ arrangement of Lament.

1 August 2016: Frederick plays for the opening service of the RCO Summer Course on which he is teaching; he plays St Michael as the postlude.

July 2016: Frederick examines ARCO written papers  and also examines for the ABRSM in both grades and diplomas.

July 2016: Frederick appointed as an organ teacher at Junior Academy, working alongside Anne Marsden Thomas and Peter Holder.

June 2016: Frederick completes nearly three years organising the year-round programme of classes for the RCO.

24 May 2016: The Prayer of St Richard of Chichester - Evensong at St Sepulchre’s, London, conducted by Ashley Wagner.

14 May 2016: Frederick teaches an RCO class, in association with Royal Academy of Music, on Parry’s Chorale Preludes at Marylebone Parish Church..

Frederick’s second commission for Chichester Cathedral is a setting of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis for choir and organ. It is called the Chichester Service and will receive its first performance in 2017.

24 December 2015: Frederick plays the organ for a live broadcast on BBC One of Midnight Mass from St George’s Cathedral. He plays the opening of Hope, from Faith, Love, Hope whilst the final credits roll. The programme can he seen here.
